1. The McComb Public Library has a meeting room that has been certified by the fire department to hold a maximum of 40 people.
2. Library use of the meeting room takes precedence over use by an outside community activity.
3. The room is available to civic, cultural, educational, and individual groups. Families and organizations may use the room for social functions.

4. No political parties may use the room unless advertised as such. Any meeting of a political group must be open to the public.
5. No religious services will be allowed or any meeting which will be disruptive to the purpose of the library.
6. Scheduled use of the room should be done well in advance. The form below and the deposit should be handled before the use of the room.
7. The person in charge of the meeting must be 18 years of age or older and shall assume full responsibility for any injury or damage to library property, buildings, furnishings or equipment that results from the use of the room.
8. Adult supervision must be provided for all children’s and teen’s programs held in the meeting room. One adult must be present for each 10 children under the age of 18.
9. There will be no smoking, alcoholic beverages or open flames permitted in the building.
10. The meeting room key must be picked up during library hours. The key is to be returned promptly after the meeting. If the library is closed, the key is to be returned in the envelope provided in the library book drop.
11. Use of the room will not be restricted due to race, national origin, religion, sex, sexual orientation, age, political affiliation or physical limitation. The library does not endorse the philosophies or practice of any such group renting the room.
12. The library provides limited equipment for the serving of refreshments. Kitchen items include: 10 cup coffee maker, 30 cup coffee urn, punch bowl, and silverware.
13. The person using the room is responsible for cleaning the room to include vacuuming and removing of trash to the outside receptacle located outside the fire exit door. The kitchen area, appliances, and bathroom are to be left in a clean and sanitary condition. You must also furnish your own trash bags, dish towels, etc.
14. No tape, nails or other adhesives may be applied to meeting room walls. Any tape used on tables is to be removed completely.

a. $10.00 _______ Non-profit and educational groups
b. $20.00 _______ Individuals
c. $25.00 _______ Refundable deposit required for all groups – will be returned after use of room
